Soap brand Bronnley picks HDY for marketing brief

A Birmingham agency has won a new consumer creative marketing brief from a historic British luxury soap brand.

Digbeth-basd HDY is now working with Bronnley to boost its digital marketing and increase online sales.

The client win expands the marketing and comms agency's work in the beauty sector after its appointment in March as retained creative marketing partner for global beauty house Vivalis.

HDY's remit will be to define Bronnley's marketing strategy, enabling the business to pivot in the wake of the covid-19 crisis and add a renewed focus on its direct-to-consumer offer and drive web sales.

The firm's work will encompass strategy, content marketing, in-market brand research, digitally focused advertising campaigns, influencer engagement and PR within the UK market.

Bronnley was founded in London in 1884 and is now headquartered in Milton Keynes.

Angel Gaskell, who co-founded HDY in 2018 with Birmingham-based Heart FM broadcaster Ed James, said: "Quick and nimble by nature, it's a delight to be able to work with such a distinguished company that mirrors our outlook.

"With such a rich heritage, there's a huge opportunity for growth and we can't wait to continue the great work we've already started."
