Bolton Wanderers fans travelled to Morecambe in numbers to greet and cheer on their team today.
Hundreds of Whites supporters greeted the team coach as it arrived at the Mazuma Stadium.
And after the 1-0 win - courtesy of Ben Jackson's first half stoppage time strike - Ian Evatt and the Bolton squad applauded the supporters who had made the journey from a distance.
The victory moved Bolton four points clear of the Shrimps with today's victory, meaning a win next weekend over Exeter City should see Wanderers achieve automatic promotion back to League One.
Bolton fans have taken to Twitter to have their say both on the outcome of today's match, but also the act of Evatt and his squad applauding and meeting the supporters for the first time in person this season.
