Raphinha has made quite the impression since Leeds United signed the Brazilian ahead of their much-anticipated return to the Premier League last summer.
The 24-year-old has scored five goals in 18 starts for the Whites after putting pen to paper on a £17 million deal from French Ligue 1 club Rennes.
He was unable to inspire Leeds to a positive result against Aston Villa on Saturday night, with Dean Smith's side earning a 1-0 win at Elland Road, but that was a rare off day for Marcelo Bielsa's attacking force.
With some bustling performances in his debut season, Raphinha has more than played his part in the rise of 'Bielsa-ball' - alongside the likes of England hopefuls Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison, among others.
But there is far more to his game than the high-intensity, gut-busting work that comes as pre-requisite for forming part of a Bielsa line-up - according to Match of the Day pundit and former England striker Alan Shearer.
Amid recent reports linking Raphinha with Premier League clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United, Shearer told Premier League productions: "He can put a shift in. But it will be disrespectful to say that's all it is. There is so much more to him.
"There is the ability to go at players and to go past players. To score and to create.
"You can understand why there are so many people talking about him, and talking about his ability, because he's doing this most weeks now."
