'So much for starting the in form lads' - England fans fume at Gareth Southgate's decision

England's starting lineup for their European qualifier against Czech Republic has been announced.

Gareth Southgate's side will be looking to further strengthen their position at the top of Group A as they aim to seal their place in the finals of the European Championships that will take place in the summer of 2020.

The Three Lions sit comfortably at the top of the group, having won all four of the matches so far.

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been selected in the starting 11 for the match at Sinobo Stadium in Czech Republic, although there is no place for striker Tammy Abraham or defender Fikayo Tomori.

England regulars Harry Maguire and Michael Keane have been selected ahead of the Chelsea youngster, much to the dismay of both Chelsea and England fans, who have taken to social media to give their thoughts.

Tomori has established himself as a key member of Frank Lampard's first team squad, which has led to him being given his first international call up.

Fans have pointed to previous comments by Southgate about playing players in form in order to make their case that the Blues' defender should be picked ahead of both the Everton and Manchester United men.

Take a look at what they had to say below.

Tomori will have a second chance to make his full debut when England take on Bulgaria on Monday.
