It’s still not quite December but that hasn’t stopped some people in Liverpool from putting up their Christmas decorations.
In fact, it seems that people are in the festive spirit earlier than ever this year, with many decorations appearing in the last month.
As you drive through different parts of the city, you’re guaranteed to see twinkling lights and Christmas scenes in homes and shops all over.
We asked followers on our Christmas in Liverpool Facebook group if anyone had put their decorations up yet, and many people sent in pictures, with some having had them up since early November.
Asked why they had put them up so early this year, one Facebook user said: “Trying to bring some cheer after all this political shxx”.
Over on the What’s On Facebook page , one person said: “Mine will be going up this weekend, early for me! I think people have had an awful year, they just want something nice in their life, and what could be better than colours and lights!”
Another added: “Had my tree up since beginning of november and I love it”.
