The SNP have won a council by-election, holding the seat with more than double the Labour vote.
Lynda Holton will represent the Glenrothes Central and Thornton ward in Fife after the count saw SNP win with 1439 first-preference votes (47.6%).
Labour came second with 649 (21.5%), and Reform UK surged with 541 (17.9%)
The LibDems came fourth with 207 votes, and the Conservatives last on 185.
Holton was elected on the fourth round of transfers and the turnout was 24.2%.
The by-election was held after veteran SNP councillor Ross Vettraino died.
First Minister and SNP leader John Swinney reacted to the win saying: "Huge SNP win in Glenrothes Central and Thornton by-election with 47.6% of first preference votes - more than DOUBLE the Labour vote. Well done to Cllr Lynda Holton and her team on an outstanding victory."
The party shared the win calling it their "fifth by-election win in a row".
