SNP's Fiona Hyslop is declared winner in Linlithgow constituency

Voters in Linlithgow have once again put their faith in the SNP’s Fiona Hyslop, who has been returned as MSP again.

Fiona was declared the winner this afternoon after taking 22,693 votes.

Fiona has increased her majority by 4218 from 2016, when she polled 18,475 votes cast in the constituency poll. She now enjoys a majority of 10,105.

Behind her was Labour’s Kirsteen Sullivan with 12,558 votes, Conservative Charles Kennedy with 9472 and Sally Pattle of the Scottish Liberal Democrats with 2126 votes.

The turn-out was 62.2 per cent.
