SNP launch first advert for new 'Scotland's Voices' broadcasting platform

THE SNP have launched an advert trailing the party’s new broadcasting platform.

The plan to launch “Scotland’s Voices” was announced by the SNP’s depute leader, Keith Brown, on the first day of the party’s conference in Aberdeen.

It's understood that the regular show, expected to be put out in podcast form across social media platforms including TikTok, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, will promote the case for independence.

Brown told conference: “We will soon launch a brand new broadcast platform, with the first episode of this brand new show covering the debate over Scotland’s future.

“We will bring you familiar and new voices to discuss the big issues surrounding the case for independence.

“So please, keep your eyes peeled online and in your email inbox for more details on this exciting development to be announced very soon.”

Now, as the Supreme Court begins to hear oral arguments on Scotland’s right to hold an independence referendum without Westminster’s consent, the SNP have released a short advert trailing the new platform.

It begins with Aberdeenshire councillor Fatima Joji saying: “Scotland’s future matters to us all.”

Others then say that Westminster politicians would prefer Scots to be “seen and not heard”, before adding: “That’s about to change.”

The advert was shared online by the SNP’s official account, after initially being posted by party strategist Ross Colquhoun.

Soon after it was announced on Saturday, the broadcasting platform was jokingly branded "natflix".
