SNP hold Almond Valley as Angela Constance is returned as MSP for fourth time

The SNP’s Angela Constance has been returned as MSP in the Almond Valley constituency for the fourth time.

Angela was declared the winner this afternoon after taking 22,675 votes.

She has increased her majority from 2016, when she polled 18,475 votes and now has an impressive 12,130 majority.

Behind her was Labour’s Craig Smith with 10,545 votes, Damian Doran-Timpson (Conservatives) with votes 6952 votes and Caron Lindsay of the Scottish Liberal Democrats with 1601 votes.
