Snow showers across Nottingham predicted this weekend

Snow could be falling in Nottingham this weekend according to the latest forecasts.

The BBC weather forecast predicts that there will be light snow showers from 10am on Saturday, January 23 in the city.

From 11am there will be sleet showers and by midday there will be sunny intervals with the rest of the day looking cloudy.

Temperatures could drop to -1C on Saturday morning but the forecast predicts it will get warmer by midday with highs of 3C.

Sunday (January 24) is set to be cloudy all day with lows of 0C.

North Nottinghamshire is also expected to see snow showers on Saturday with light snow and sleet showers predicted in Mansfield from 9am - 4pm.
