Wreck of the week: North Yorkshire. This stone barn in Middleham, near Leyburn, is snug … if you’re bovine. But it does have planning permission to be a two-bed house. About £100,000+ should sort it out domestically, on top of the £100,000 price tag. It is on the edge of town with views over Lower Wensleydale. Less attractively, it’s semi-detached and shares a central courtyard with a couple of other conversions.
