Snoop Dogg reschedules Glasgow gig date over Covid concerns for crew and fans

Snoop Dogg has rescheduled his 2022 Glasgow tour date over coronavirus safety concerns for his crew and fans.

The 'Gin N Juice' rapper's show at the Hydro was originally scheduled for March 2 2022 but will now take place on August 26 2022.

Snoop Dogg released a statement about the change in show date and said: "My biggest priority is to keep my team and my fans safe, due to ongoing issues with the pandemic we have to push back again to make sure we can go to every country on the tour in a safe way.

The tour is in support of the rapper’s 17th album, ‘I Wanna Thank Me’ and music documentary with the same name.

The album release and documentary are celebrating 25 years of Snoop’s varied career.

All tickets for the original shows are valid for the rescheduled date: tickets can be bought here.
