With an autobiography and a novel under his belt, rapper Snoop Dogg is taking the logical next step to literary stardom with the release of a book of his song lyrics that can be rolled up and smoked on completion.
Rolling Words: A Smokable Songbook contains the lyrics of songs including Nuthin' but a "G" Thang and Gin and Juice. The songs are printed on Snoop's new king-size slim rolling papers, with the pages perforated for easy removal. The book even features a match-striking surface on the spine to make life as easy as possible for readers.
"This thing can also be smoked with some of your finest, where you at or however you at," Snoop tells fans in a promotional video for the book. "I made this book so people can always remember, you can roll with an expert, you can roll with Snoop, get it together."
Rolling Words follows Snoop's autobiography, Tha Doggfather, and a novel, Love Don't Live Here No More (Doggy Tales), "the dramatic story of a young man with a passion for rapping and making music, hip-hop style, but who survives the mean streets of southern California by dealing drugs". Readers will be hard-pressed to get their hands on his latest venture, however, with only a limited number of copies being released.
