Snoop Dogg dances at Glasgow airport as piper welcomes him to city

Hip hop icon Snoop Dogg was welcomed into Glasgow by a pipers live rendition of one of his hits at the airport earlier today.

Ross Ainslie was invited to ensure the rap star received the perfect Scottish entrance with his own twist on classic Still D.R.E.

Snoop loved every second of it and danced around while Ross continued to play. After finishing, the US musician gave the piper a big thumbs up and a smile.

Ross told Glasgow Live: "It was a very cool experience!

"I only had a day to suss out some music but ‘Still D.R.E’ is a great pipe tune! Who knew?"

The global superstar arrived in Glasgow ahead of his show at the Hydro tonight which was originally scheduled for last August.

The clip of Ross in his kilt playing the bagpipes and Snoop dancing has certainly delighted the pipers' followers on Instagram.

One wrote: "This is absolutely outstanding."

Another added: "Gutted I’m missing this gig but this makes me so happy."

Another follower said: "Award for the most random video on the internet today. Class."
