Snoop Dogg is collaborating with Charlie Sheen on a track produced by former Korn guitarist Rob Patterson. Billboard has reported that their labours have resulted in a single, although no release plans have yet been announced.
Sheen posted a picture of himself, Snoop Dogg and Patterson, who is now a member of the band Filter, hanging out in a recording studio on Twitter last week.
"Warlock meets his makers-music makers that is @SnoopDogg @robpatterson666 get ready to rock the Sheenius within! http://twitpic.com/4d9cw1," the actor tweeted.
It is thought that the track will tie in to Sheen's forthcoming standup tour – titled My Violent Torpedo of Truth – which starts in Detroit on 2 April.
Despite recently attracting the censure of Raekwon of the Wu Tang Clan – who called him a "rich dick" – the actor is also reported to have partied with P Diddy in his Los Angeles mansion.
Snoop Dogg – whose previous collaborators include the likes of Willie Nelson – releases his new album, The Doggumentary, in the UK on 18 April; he plays the Manchester International festival on 15 July, performing his 1993 debut Doggystyle in its entirety.
