Live from New York, it will once again be “Saturday Night Live,” this weekend, with emphasis on Saturday night.
The hit series returns at 10:30 p.m. April 11 with original content produced remotely and utilizing strict social distancing policies, including the popular “Weekend Update” featuring Colin Jost and Michael Che.
It’s still unclear if any of the sketches in the episode will be live or if all of it will have been pre-recorded by air time.
According to deadline.com, there’s no word on the run time for the show, or which other cast members will be featured.

In sad news, Che announced the death of his grandmother this week in a lengthy and hugely emotional IG post.
“Hi. I’m Michael Che, from TV,” Che wrote, in part. “Last night my grandmother passed away from the coronavirus. I’m doing OK, considering. I’m obviously very hurt and angry that she had to go through all that pain alone. But I’m also happy that she’s not in pain anymore. And I also feel guilty for feeling happy.”
