Kid Cudi has earned praise after performing a musical set wearing a floral dress on Saturday Night Live.
The rapper was featured on Saturday (10 April) alongside Carey Mulligan, who was making her hosting debut.
During one of his performances, Kid Cudi stepped onto the set wearing a maxi-length floral dress with thin straps, which quickly earned rave reviews.
“The goat @KidCudi killing it on SNL one of the best ever to do it in a dress,” one person wrote.
“I’ve always been a Kid Cudi fan but omg this dress is so cute and I’m a fan all over again!” someone else tweeted.
“Kid Cudi is serving in this floral dress!” another viewer wrote.
The artist was also celebrated for wearing a T-shirt paying tribute to the late comedian Chris Farley, once an SNL cast member, earlier during the broadcast. Farley died in 1997 at the age of 33 of an overdose.
Kid Cudi also shared a photo of a sign reading “Watch your head Farley”, still displayed in the SNL backstage area.
“First a Chris Farley T-shirt and now a dress,” one viewer wrote. “Kid Cudi is a fashion icon.”
