Adam Sandler returned to his SNL roots on Saturday (25 April) for the programme’s second at-home episode.
The former Saturday Night Live cast member joined Pete Davidson for a musical skit titled “Stuck in the House”.
Together, they rapped about the boredom and repetition of quarantine.
Sandler was a surprise guest, joining a bit more than a minute into the tune.
His lines referenced several lockdown mishaps, such as attempting to bake bread at home only for it to “taste like s***”.
Two weeks prior, Davidson also delivered a musical skit, channelling Drake in a tune that explored the misery of missing an ex while on confinement.
Sandler starred on SNL from 1990 to 1995.
The comedian and actor was one of several surprise guests who joined Saturday night’s episode.
Brad Pitt delivered the opening skit with a winning impersonation of Dr Anthony Fauci, one of the leading members of Donald Trump’s coronavirus task force.
Paul Rudd also joined in a separate sketch, as a man attempting to reconnect with a cousin over video call.
