Emergency services, including a sniffer dog, remain at the scene in Eastham following a crash last night.
Police were called at around 8.20pm to Ferry Road on Friday, August 13 after reports of a man on a motorcycle crashing into a wall.
Torr Drive, Ferry Road and Eastham Lock were all closed while police investigated and a number of road closures are still in place today.

Police and fire services remain at the scene of Ferry Road this afternoon while a sniffer dog has also been seen in Eastham Woods.
Buses are diverted while the police investigation continues.
Stagecoach Merseyside said: "Please be aware service 38 will not be able to service Eastham Ferry due to an ongoing police investigation. Sorry for any delays caused."
Merseyside Police have been contacted for a comment.
