A new, traditional family-run Italian restaurant is taking shape over on Paisley Road West - and we have a sneak preview as the eatery takes shape.
The new Leonardo’s in Cardonald is a sister restaurant to the established place of the same name in Hamilton.
The promise is an authentic Italian dining experience for the south side, and at affordable prices, with the menu making best use of Italian tomatoes, extra virgin olive oils and olives alongside top quality Scottish seafood and meat.
There’s a launch night happening tonight (Thursday), in which the team will show off dishes like pollo saltimbocca, risotto asparagus and Leonardo’s famous tiramisu. There’s also a focus on gluten free and vegan elements to the menu, to cater to Glasgow’s wide and varied foodie community.
Owner Debbie Arsllanovska said: “I’m delighted to see everything finally come together, we’ve got a great team behind us and really looking forward to showing the place off at the launch.”
