The unveiling of the famous Christmas window wasn't the only exciting reveal that happened at Fenwick on Friday night and lucky visitors also got a first look at the return of the store's magical Santa on the Rooftop experience.
The attraction made an amazing debut on the top floor of the famous Newcastle department store last year and it's back bigger and better for 2019 just as this year's window was revealed.
We don't want to risk landing on Santa's naughty list by giving away any of the many surprises in store for those of you who managed to get a ticket for the sold out Fenwick event but he has given us permission to share one or two pictures.
And we can say that the man himself plays a big part in the experience as do his elves.
There'll be an opportunity to spend some time with Santa and get creative with the elves during your time on the roof, with both indoor and outdoor elements to the experience.
Families will have access to Santa's workshop through a secret passage, where they can discover a paradise of neon lights and help the Gangsta Wrappers with Christmas crafts such as festive biscuit decorating.
After passing through a sparkling sugar-like snow flurry, visitors can stop at Club Claus, where the cheeky elves go to let their hair down after working hard and enjoy a hot chocolate, or for the grown-ups, a warming mulled wine and sweet treat.
The festive adventure comes to an end in the distribution centre where guests can have the ultimate Instagram moment posing in Santa’s sleigh for an ‘Elfie’ as the busy elves load gifts on the conveyor belt behind.
This year also sees the return of Santa's Rooftop Cinema.
