This is how the £44 million super school in Tonyrefail will look when it throws open its door to pupils next week.
Tonyrefail Community School will be now be home more than 1,500 pupils - from ages three to 19.
Officials are promising "state-of-the-art" classrooms, brand-new science labs, study spaces as well as a lecture theatre.
Built as a Grammar School in 1931, the building, known as Upper School to pupils, was used as part of the comprehensive school until 2015 when it was announced the school would be part of a £85m shakeup of education across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Primary pupils have got to use new facilities at the school since September 2018 when the first phase of the project was complete - with a few tweaks being carried out from the eye-catching artist's impressions released previously.
Next week it will be secondary pupils turn to move in.
Touch screens have been installed in classrooms for interactive learning, as well as a multimedia hall complete with full stage lighting for drama classes.
The school will also have a new all-weather 3G pitch, which will also be open for the public to use.
Original features from the Grade II listed Grammar School building have also been preserved - such as an original herringbone flooring, stained glass and pillared hallways.
Councillor Joy Rosser, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Lifelong Learning, said: "The school will give our young people the very best opportunities for their education."
Pupils will be moving into the new building when they return to school next Wednesday 1 May.
The next phase of the project will see the remaining comprehensive building demolished, with a car park installed in its place.
