Snapchat has gone down for thousands of users across the UK, Europe and parts of the USA.
The social media platform says it is “looking into” the problem.
A spokesman said: “We're aware some Snapchatters are having trouble using the app.
“Hang tight - we are looking into it.”
Independent outage monitor Downdetector registered more than 4,000 reports from users at one time insisting Snapchat is suffering from problems.
It seems users are unable to refresh their messages, stories and are unable to send snaps, either.
Problems started just after 5,30pm in the UK.
