It’s one of the most popular social media apps around, and now Snapchat has announced that it’s launching a new feature.
The feature, called Bitmoji TV, is a spin off of Snapchat’s Bitmoji, which lets users create cartoon avatars of themselves.
With Bitmoji TV, these characters can now be brought to life in animated films.
Snapchat explained: “Bitmoji TV is a funny, relatable, and wacky experience that satirises television through Bitmoji’s comic-driven sense of humour.”
The feature uses cutting edge animation technology to place your Bitmoji in each episode, alongside the Bitmoji of the friend you’ve most recently interacted with.

Snapchat added: “The series features a wide variety of content, with Snapchatters and their friend’s avatars starring in episodes ranging from being part of an action thriller to taking centre stage at a talent competition.”
Each season of Bitmoji TV is formed of 10 episodes, averaging three minutes in length.
The first episode will premiere on Saturday 1 Februacy, and will feature the voices of special guest stars.

From then, new episodes will appear on Saturday mornings in the Discover section of the app.
If you want to make sure you don’t miss a single episode, you can subscribe to Bitmoji TV, and receive notifications for new episodes.
Snapchat added: “This form or personalised entertainment allows Snapchatters to develop deeper bonds with their bestie, as they star in their own unique TV show."
