The Cincinnati Bengals were forced to mix it up in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

After losing Ricardo Allen to injured reserve, the Bengals had to change things up because the veteran had been such a strong presence in three-safety sets.

To address this, linebacker Germaine Pratt saw an uptick in snaps from the week prior and Sean Davis, freshly signed to the practice squad and elevated to the main roster for the game, actually got on the field.

Otherwise, a routine day for snap-count watchers. A total of 14 names played at least 20 snaps for the defense, continuing what should be a season-long trend for Lou Anarumo’s defense.
