Children are invited to get close and personal with the adorable blue gnomes called the Smurfs during the Iconic Children's Playground At Iconsiam, which is running until Sunday.
Held under the theme "Smurfs 60th Anniversary", the fair has brought a troop of Smurfs from Belgium to meet Thai fans for the first time. Children are invited to journey into the Little World of Smurfs village and meet the Smurfs family, namely the eldest member, Papa Smurf; the only lady member, Smurfette; smart Brainy Smurf; and many more.
Standing tall in front of the Smurfs village is the country's first installation of a giant smurf as high as 4m. It is dressed in white silk Thai-style pantaloons, or jong kraben, and has a flower garland in his hand. All visitors are invited to transform themselves into Smurfs by donning the Smurfs costumes to receive a souvenir gift.
Many educational institutes are hosting workshops where children will learn to create their own masterpieces through painting or shaping dough or Korean clay. They are allowed to take their works back home as souvenirs. Kids will also have their imaginations enhanced through digital art and witnessing stage performances by students.
Exclusively on Saturday and Sunday, the Happy Kids Happy Experience By Millennium Auto activity in front of the BMW showroom at Wattana Hall, 3rd floor, will offer a fun and safe driving experience for kids, who will be allowed to drive a small electric vehicle on a racetrack while learning traffic signals.
