Smurfit Kappa invests in Scottish print division

Smurfit Kappa has announced a multi-million pound investment in its manufacturing division and partition products in Scotland.

The packaging solutions company is investing in the Tannochside plant in North Lanarkshire in order to produce solid board interlocking divisions and corrugated divisions.

The investment will improve the quality of the print and the conversion equipment used in making these products. Divisions are used to protect the goods inside of the packaging such as glass bottles or glasses.

The investment will support the Tannochside workforce within the company.

Smurfit Kappa is a FTSE 100 company with approximately 46,000 employees in more than 350 production sites across 35 countries.
