Smriti Irani, who had worked with Mandira Bedi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, mourned the latter’s husband’s sudden demise. The actress-turned-politician took to social media and shared a black and white photo of Raj Kaushal.
She wrote ‘Om Shanti’ with folded-hands emoji.
His demise has come up as a major shock for the film and television industry.
Mandira performed his last rites and was captured while coming out of the crematorium.
Like Smriti, many celebrities poured in their heartfelt wishes for Raj Kaushal. Smriti and Mandira worked together in Kyunki…, where the latter played the role of Dr. Mandira Kapadia. Mandira played this roled from 2001-2003 and gained much popularity as the antagonist.
Many of the couple’s friends and relatives visited. Ronit Roy, Apurva Agnihotri, Shilpa Saklani, Ashish Chowdhary and others consoled a mourning Mandira and her kids.
Director-producer Raj Kaushal passed away today (June 30) in the early hours. According to reports Raj Kaushal took his last breath after he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Talking about the couple, Mandira and Raj, who have been married for years now, are parents to a biological son Veer. And, it was only last year that the couple adopted a baby girl, Tara.
