Two young women enjoyed a cigarette break on a window sill three floors up on Monday - oblivious to the social media storm they sparked by doing so.
The foolhardy pair clearly have a head for heights as they balanced on a ledge 75ft above Aberdeen ’s Union Street. The duo seem to be casually chatting away while soaking up the late summer sun.
Alarmingly, the flat window they’ve popped out of is almost shut behind them as their legs dangle over the ledge.
Commenting on photographs posted on Fubar , Kerry Fleming said: “I feel my vertigo kicking in just looking at the pictures.”
Agnes Mackenzie added: “My God that is so stupid.”
Zena Rough posted: “You wouldn’t get me out there.”
But Pam Smith appealed for calm: “Used to see loads of auld wifies standing on ledges cleaning the windows.
“Didn’t hear of many falling though no doubt there were a few. Chill, people, chill.”
