Canberrans will likely see some smoke in the air this weekend as firefighters conduct hazard reduction burns.
The ACT Rural Fire Service will be doing an agricultural hazard reduction burn at 287 Point Hut Road, Paddys River on Sunday.
It will begin at 8am if weather permits.
Smoke and flames may be visible from some parts across the territory while the burn is being undertaken.
ACTRFS will remain on scene throughout the duration of the hazard reduction burn, however pockets within the burn area may continue to smoulder and emanate smoke throughout the night.
Only dial triple zero (000) if you see an unattended fire.
