The Bluefire Street Fest is returning to Smithfield this year and it looks like it's going to be bigger and better than ever!
Now in its sixth year, the festival aims to promote social integration and cohesion amongst young Dubliners across all cultural backgrounds.
Taking place between midday and 10pm on Saturday, September 21, it's free to the public and looks to be a brilliant day.
It will include the 'Global Village' food and crafts market and 'Health and Harmony' wellbeing fair, as well as a music and performing arts tent, street art murals and a speakers corner, an engaging talks and workshops programme, open dance classes, community group performances and a night time projection event.
They're now making a call to action for those who want to take part.
How can I take part?
Programme | Artists
The team are currently working with various artists, community groups, speakers, facilitators and partners (such as cultural organisations, NGOs and campaign groups) in the preparation of the programme.
The festival will be accepting programme proposals under the theme of Peace|People + Planet until 1 September. Please contact Jody and Jess: programme@bluefiredublin.ie.
Volunteers
