Smithdown Weekender 2023 confirmed dates for this year's festival

Smithdown Weekender is coming back for 2023 it’s been confirmed.

The festival is grown in size over the years with many bars, cafes and shops along the popular south Liverpool street getting involved. The weekend event is a chance to celebrate and support the local independent businesses that make the street so quirky and unique.

Those attending can expect live music in many of the bars, plus lots of family entertainment with plenty for the kids to enjoy and get involved in. Few details have been released so far about this year’s event, but organisers took to Facebook to confirm its return, saying “BIG NEWS! We’re back’.

The post confirmed the dates this year’s festival will be held from Friday, April 28 to Monday, May 1, giving people four days of entertainment to look forward to.

No details yet have been announced about the venues getting involved in the mini festival, but in previous years it has been supported by the Handyman pub, Black Cat, Chamber 36 and Defend Vinyl, plus the Brookhouse and Nomad. We will bring you more details about the line up when it’s confirmed.
