Nottingham Forest fans have been suggestion who the club’s player of the season should be, should it end now following the suspension due to the coronavirus.
After the EFL board hosted an emergency meeting on Friday to discuss the growing concern around the coronavirus outbreak, it was decided that all professional football in England would be suspended until April 3, at the earliest.
This would mean Forest would not be back in action until April 4, where they are currently due to face arch rivals Derby County at Pride Park Stadium.
There has been plenty of debate around how football will resume following the suspension, including whether to carry on with the current season or leave it null and void.
Should the season end as it stands, Forest would finish with their current fifth place position in the Sky Bet Championship table, with a chance that promotion to the Premier League does not happen.
With no more Forest football to be played this season a possibility, Reds fans have been debating who would be worthy of being named the club’s player of the campaign.
