Smash hit musical comedy Hairspray is returning to Liverpool next year.
Heading to the Liverpool Empire in November 2020, Hairspray is set in 1960s Baltimore, where Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair is on a mission to dance her way onto national TV.
Tracy’s audition makes her a local star and soon she’s using her new-found fame to fight for equality - and bagging heartthrob Link Larkin along the way.
The musical features hit songs Welcome to the 60s, You Can’t Stop The Beat, The Nicest Kids in Town and more.
Hairspray will visit the Liverpool Empire from November 9 to 14, 2020.
Pre-sale for Theatre Card members is now open, while general sale begins on Friday, September 27.
