We found that a number of our operators, engineers and delivery drivers were crossing over with their routes. So, using the data collected from trackers we installed in their vehicles, we were able to put together new route plans.
This not only saved the business time and money but meant we were making less journeys and therefore having less of an impact on the environment.
We also took the time to look at where deliveries were heading daily and text drivers to let them know what they had on for the next day and whether they needed to come back to the warehouse first.
