There are so many smart ways for collaborative working and The Beauty Bounty is predominantly based on maximising technology to provide real services. We offer five elements: interior design, beauty and grooming, talking therapies and holistic treatments. The nature of our work means we are not office-bound but rely on technology to facilitate team meetings, organise mobile bookings and share stories about what’s going on in the company.
Being a new startup we have fewer resources which means we don’t have big budgets to organise our back office functions. In fact The Beauty Bounty runs on super-efficient collaboration. Technology-wise, we use apps like Evernote to keep in touch and stay productive on the move. We access notes both online and offline, and large files can be clipped which means that we can search inside documents and share files for team meetings. We use Dropbox for sharing documents and ideas and Google Hangout or Skype for hosting meetings.
It’s important that everyone at The Beauty Bounty communicates and for brand consistency to be applied. Each therapist must communicate the same message and the same values as the company.
