As a design agency we’re selling our time, so efficiency is vital to us. In the past year we have built our own feedback system to speed up feedback stages, which allows the client to provide feedback in a simple manner. From our end it automatically informs the designer of changes and allows for easier administration.
We’ve changed our proposals and pricing so every project includes copywriting and photography, as getting this from clients was time consuming and delayed us, the bonus of this means that all the content and imagery is of professional quality too.
We’ve introduced an ‘autopsy’ folder, which every issue goes into, at the end of each project we then discuss the problems and create solutions for the next project (hence the name.)
We created a bespoke software solution, which on agreement of a new project creates the full folder structure and populates the folders with the agreed details so a designer can begin the work. Monday morning meetings have been added so that everyone is held accountable of their weekly goals to keep everyone on track.
