The systems and processes for the setting up and building of WordPress websites were all in my head – I was spending time relearning a process I knew I could do, and this was creating a slower-paced working environment.
So I started to document and write step-by-step guides for implementing certain elements of the business, as I have just branched out into getting in new people to help me. I wanted the same level of attention to detail that I would provide. Putting systems in place so that I could pass this knowledge on has freed up my time to focus on winning new business.
Rather than hiring someone else to handle clients and speaking to them it made sense for me to be communicating directly with clients.
Also the process of automation list building – of people already looking for our services – and knowing what they want before getting in touch means there is no cold calling or chanced communication. I know they need a service or have shown an interest in the company before I speak with them. This means nearly all of my time is converting leads into buyers right off the bat.
