I’ve been teaching craft and creative workshops for more than ten years. I teach at colleges, arts centres and craft groups all over the country. I travel a great deal and have hardly had a weekend at home in the past five years.

Although I love teaching, two years ago I decided I need to get my life back, travel less and have at least a few weekends to spend with my family.

I knew the internet had to be the way forward, so gradually I developed a plan for a completely new way of teaching traditional creative skills via online workshops. I started by videoing my own workshops and putting them up for sale and now have about a dozen brilliant online workshops in a wide variety of subjects from crochet to cupcakes.

I’ve sourced some really inspiring teachers who have joined me online by allowing me to film their classes and projects. Each online workshop is a professionally produced presentation; most last one or two hours and include downloads, patterns, diagrams and direct email access to the online instructor. The real beauty is that I can now sell my workshops to a worldwide audience 24 hours a day.
