Over the last year, Flubit.com has expanded rapidly, forcing us to embark on a number of changes to remain efficient, and to ensure we continue to roll-out new features without incurring any substantial delays.
One of the main improvements is Agile, development software that allows us to run a smooth operation where we can move in and out of projects quickly and easily, as well as addressing any potential issues straight away.
Another important change is that our operations team is now multi-skilled and able to work across different departments, should that be required as a result of absence or if one area becomes particularly busy.
The merchant sales team is using a CRM system for easy access to potential leads and to ensure that everyone is fully on top of potential opportunities and not missing out on important prospects.
As Flubit.com has grown, staying on top of what 65 people are doing each day becomes quite a task. Therefore, we start each day with five minute stand up meetings across each department to highlight what everyone’s focus is for the day and to identify potential issues.
Building a strong team isn’t easy and we’ve been very lucky finding the people we have. To thank them for all their hard work, each month each member of staff gets a benefit allowance to spend on something that makes them happy –within reason!
