Small Redskins injury updates during bye week provide good news

The Washington Redskins might leave the bye healthier in both sets of trenches.

Offensive lineman Morgan Moses left a game recently with a pec injury and later returned, eventually getting an MRI to figure out the extent of the damage.

He’s one of two names — alongside defensive lineman Tim Settle — who appears in a new update from ESPN’s John Keim: “Was told that initial diagnosis on Morgan Moses’ pec was good; now waiting on second opinion to make sure. As for Tim Settle (hamstring), sounds like they’ll know more next week. Got PRP shot; see how it takes affect. no timetable yet on him”

Settle is an important part of the defense from a depth perspective and hasn’t been a stranger to breakout games this year.

As for Moses, he’s an important starter on the right side, though if he does have to miss time, the team would at least get another close look at what it has with Geron Christian.

For both of these players, it is good news for everyone that their current issues are of the wait-and-see variety.
