Small Irish businesses have just seven days left to apply for Covid support before applications close.
The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment issued a reminder this morning to those in Ireland who may be struggling with running a small business amid Covid.
The Small Business Assistance Scheme was set up to offer fixed costs grants of €1,000 or €4,000 to small companies and will be closing on July 21.
It was created for those that are not eligible for the Government’s COVID Restrictions Support Scheme (CRSS), the Fáilte Ireland Business Continuity grant, or other direct sectoral grant schemes.
Minor changes were made to the eligibility process meaning that now, businesses working from non-rateable premises can apply and if they meet the other eligibility criteria they will receive a grant of €4,000.
Businesses with a turnover between €20,000 and €49,999 are also now eligible to apply if they meet the other eligibility criteria and will receive a grant of €1,000.
If you meet the criteria for this scheme you have seven days left to apply through your Local Authority.
