Cocktail bar chain Slug & Lettuce will be handing out hundreds of free ice creams in Bristol this week once the stormy weather has blown over.
On Friday (August 19) it will be bringing its very own ice cream van to Millennium Square as part of its 10-town tour of the UK, giving away 500 free ice creams in each location. To add to the excitement, they will also be handing out exclusive goodie bags including a Beauty BLVD lipstick to the first 30 lucky early birds to get a chance to snag the gifts.
The van will be there from 12pm, where people can enjoy a free ice cream inspired by cocktail flavours. Partygoers can also scan a QR code to get a free summer cocktail at any Slug & Lettuce branch, including in Bristol, to redeem before September 20.

It follows the release of four limited edition ice cream-inspired cocktails available in bars until September 30 -
- Fab You Lous: Containing Gordon’s Premium Pink gin, grenadine and strawberry syrup with lemon juice and pineapple juice, topped off with sprinkles
Mag Yum: Made with Smirnoff Red Label vodka, Disaronno Velvet cream liqueur and caramel syrup, finished with chocolate powder
Slugero: Havana Club 3-year-old rum, Malibu coconut rum, passionfruit purée and mango juice, finished with squirty cream
Tongue Twister: Described as 'everyone’s favourite ice lolly with a boozy twist'. Smirnoff Vanilla vodka, melon liqueur, lemon juice and apple juice, drizzled with grenadine
