Slovakia v Scotland: Pick your team for Nations League encounter that could see Scots top the group

Let's all be honest with each other; Slovakia v Scotland is going to be about who's marginally less hungover.

Both teams secured their spot at next summer's Euro 2020 finals on Thursday night.

Scotland ended 22 years of hurt with a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Serbia, while Slovakia won 2-1 after extra-time against Northern Ireland to join them.

That means we'll be welcoming the Czech Republic and Croatia to Hampden next June, with the small matter of England at Wembley sandwiched in between.

If the scenes in the Slovkia hotel were anything like those of their opponents, then today could be a struggle.

Steve Clarke might be tempted to freshen it up after 120 minutes for several players (and probably 120 beers afterwards).

He'll have to up front with Lyndon Dykes' suspended, and it'll likely be a chance for Oli McBurnie to try and claim his first Scotland goal.

David Marshall, the new King of Scotland, can pretty much do whatever he wants now, so if he fancies an afternoon off then I'm sure no-one would have much problem with Craig Gordon stepping in.

Ryan Christie's tears turned to cheers (and boogies) after the game, although in Stuart Armstrong Clarke has a similar type of player who can come in should Christie need a rest.
