'Slippery' Kevin Clifton refusing to meet Stacey Dooley's ex for 'man-to-man' chat

Stacey Dooley 's ex wants a confrontation with Kevin Clifton but it looks like he won't be getting one any time soon.

Sam Tucknott, who has spoken Stacey Dooley DATING Strictly's Kevin Clifton as her ex finds 'secret texts' from the Strictly Come Dancing winner, claims that he's reached out to the professional dancer but has been met with a wall of silence.

Accusing Kev from Grimbsy of being a 'slippery snake', he told the Daily Mail: "I’ve tried to meet him since to get closure, but he won’t do it.

"The fact he won’t have a man-to-man conversation with me says everything about the guy."

Stacey, 32, and Sam, 30, split earlier this month, and Sam has now claimed she's moved on with Kevin.

He alleges to have found a receipt for cupcakes Stacey sent to Kevin on the opening night of his new show in Glasgow.

And on April 1, Sam says he discovered a text sent to Stacey by Kevin which read, "I love you."

Kevin, 36, who has gone through three divorces after splitting from fellow pro Karen Clifton in 2017, has yet to confirm or deny the claims.

Sam added: "I just know that he is a slippery snake - a proper rat. To have that relationship where you are best buddies, but then you start going cold because you start fancying their girlfriend - I hold no respect for him whatsoever."

But Stacey - who apparently insists nothing happened between her and Kevin while she was still with Sam - has said there are "two sides to every story."

"I haven’t got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I’ve read on here.

"Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward."
