Police have seized a slingshot, electric scooters and more than a kilogram of the drug ice during two raids in the Hunter.

Three people will face a combined 36 charges in court after officers arrested them at homes in Muswellbrook and Scone on Thursday, July 9.

Police launched an investigation into illegal drug supply in the area earlier that month.

Officers from the Rural Crime Prevention Team, the Northern Operation Support Group and Hunter Valley police from specialist units, executed search warrants at the two properties in Muswellbrook and Scone.

During the raids, police allegedly found and seized multiple items of interest, including 1.1 kilograms of the drug methamphetamine, almost 670 grams of cannabis, 400 dexamphetamine tablets and other restricted substances.

Officers also allegedly seized a slingshot, ammunition, $5200 cash, electronics, two electric scooters, three e-bikes and two mountain bikes.

Police arrested 63-year-old Stephen Craig Paul Schumacher at Scone. They arrested 51-year-old Belinda Jane Newham and 23-year-old Travis Morrison at Muswellbrook.

They were all taken to Muswellbrook Police Station for charging.

Schumacher faces 21 charges, including nine counts of drug possession, two of supplying drugs, five weapons offences, and possessing, supplying or making explosives, among other charges.

He was granted conditional bail in court on Friday, July 10. As part of his conditions, he must abide by an overnight curfew and report daily to police.
