Sligo Rovers lose star Kyle Callan-McFadden ahead of Shamrock Rovers clash

A hand injury rules Kyle Callan-McFadden out of Sligo Rovers’ clash with league leaders Shamrock Rovers tonight.

The Bit O’Red are looking to follow up on Monday’s win at UCD but key man Callan-McFadden will miss at least the next two games.

Bit O’Red boss Liam Buckley said: “Everyone is looking up the table apart from Shamrock Rovers.

“We all want to be picking off the sides above us and now we look to Waterford if we can.  “Every team in this league is dangerous and I expect the teams below us to be doing all they can to get at us.

“But I see improvement and signs that we can win more games. The players are good enough to beat any team in this league.”

The Hoops got back to winning ways by beating St Pat’s on Monday but Sean Kavanagh and Sam Bone miss out tonight.

Rovers boss Stephen Bradley said: “Liam Buckley’s teams always try and play football and that’ll be no different against us.”
