Lotto players in Sligo have been urged to check their tickets after a Lotto prize worth €245,371 was won in the area.
The National Lottery appealed to Lotto players in Ballymote, Co Sligo to check their tickets after one lucky player scooped Saturday night’s Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €245,371.
The winning Quick Pick ticket worth €245,371 was sold on Saturday at the SuperValu store on Lord Edward St in Ballymote, Co Sligo.
The winning numbers for the Lotto draw were: 16, 21, 24, 30, 31, 43 and the bonus was 46.
Last night’s Lotto draw produced over 87,000 prize winners.
This year alone, over €97m has been won by over 6.5m winners in the Lotto game.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “One lucky ticketholder in Co Sligo is waking up nearly a quarter of a million euro richer this morning.
“We are encouraging all of our Lotto players who may have bought their ticket in Sligo to check their tickets carefully.
