Theatre chiefs have had to cancel their hit pantomime for the second day running.
Sleeping Beauty has been taken off stage at Ayr's Gaiety after cast came down with sickness.
It follows last night's performance being axed due to the theatre's heating system breaking down in sub-zero temperatures.
Confirming the latest blow this afternoon, bosses said: "We're so sorry to announce the further cancellations of today's performances of Sleeping Beauty.
"Due to staff sickness in our cast, we are unable to go ahead today.
"We are always devastated when we have to cancel any performance, but it would not be possible for us to put on a quality show under the circumstances.
"All ticket holders for tonight's show will have received an email with a form attached, where you can easily let us know if you'd prefer to be moved to another performance of your choice, or receive a refund.
"Our Ticket Desk team will also be contacting you by phone, and can help arrange a move to another performance.
"We're so, so sorry for any disappointment caused by this unavoidable change to our programming.
" Bella the Arran Fairy is currently working her magic, and we expect to be up and running again with the show tomorrow. We will keep audiences updated on any changes."
The show is due to run until Hogmanay.
