Sleek revamped semi with hidden balcony for sale

A slick family home that's undergone a full refurbishment has gone on the market in one of the most sought after suburbs of Liverpool.

The five-bed, three-bathroom semi on Woodview Road, in the affluent suburb of Woolton, is on the market with Find Your Eden for a guide price of £725,000.

According to the Rightmove listing, the house has "undergone an extensive schedule of refurbishment" and now offers "extended and well planned accommodation over three floors".

The location is also excellent; the property is a stone's throw from Woolton's Black Wood, as well as the beautiful Calderstones Park and lively Allerton Road.

Outside, the property is modern and slick, with brand new black double glazing and a two-storey side extension. The house opens up with an entrance hall leading to the integrated garage, a lounge with a bay window, a play room and office.

A family room and kitchen takes up the rear of the house, providing a massive open plan space with a central island and bi-fold doors leading to the garden.

The current owners have kept it simple when it comes to the interior. Mostly neutral tones are offset with brooding blacks, charcoal grey and glossy marble. The light fixings are modern and additional textures are introduced with the hardwood dining room table and wicker sideboard.

The bedrooms are spread across two floors; there are four on the first level, along with a sleek monochrome family bathroom.

The master is on the second floor, with the space opening up on to the grand balcony, complete with bistro patio furniture. It also boasts an en-suite and ample storage space, with an extra play room also on the second level.

The last time a house sold on Woodview Road was in June 2021 for £520,000. Prior to this, a house changed hands for £415,000 in August 2018.

In the last year, the overall average sale price of a property in Woolton was £290,300. The majority were semi-detached, going for an average of £282,533, while detached homes fetched an average of £502,000.

The over all average was 2% down on the previous 12 months, but 12% higher than the 2017 peak.
